How to Set a Vacation Auto-Reply
This step by step guide, and corresponding Video, will help walk you through how to set up your out of office, or vacation autoresponders.
Start by logging into Sogo with the URL provided in your welcome pack with username (e.g. user@yourdomain.com) and password.
- Select Preferences cog from the top left-hand next to your email address.
- In the preferences window selects the mail option.
- Select the vacation tab
- Tick the “Enable vacation auto-reply” box
- Auto-reply subject
- either enter a standard subject line for all messages or put ${subject}
- This will reply with the original subject in the subject line.
- Type your message in the Auto-reply message. This is the message that will be sent back to the sender.
- Tick the box Enable auto-reply on and select the date you want the vacation message to start. The vacation message will start at 00:00 (midnight) of the date selected
- Select the vacation tab
- Tick the “Enable vacation auto-reply” box
- Auto-reply subject
- either enter a standard subject line for all messages or put ${subject}
- This will reply with the original subject in the subject line.
- Type your message in the Auto-reply message. This is the message that will be sent back to the sender.
- Tick the box Enable auto-reply on and select the date you want the vacation message to start. The vaction message will start at 00:00 (midnight) of the date selected
- Tick the “Disable auto-reply on” box then select a return date.
- Press “Save and Close” to finish.
