If a screenshot, error message or small button is difficult to read, the built-in Windows Magnifier lets you enlarge it even when the app has no zoom control of its own.
- Press Windows key + Plus (+) to open Magnifier.
- Press Windows key + Plus (+) again until the detail is large enough to see.
- In full-screen view, move your pointer towards the edge of the screen to bring another part of the window into view.
- Press Windows key + Minus (−) to zoom out one step at a time.
- Press Windows key + Esc to close Magnifier at any point and return straight to your usual view.
The magnifier only changes what you see on screen, so you can read an error code or check a figure without altering the original image or document.
