A Fresh Start.

The website redesign project was undertaken to address multiple functional, aesthetic, and performance-related issues that were impacting user experience, search engine visibility, and overall effectiveness. The primary objectives of the project were:

User Experience

Enhancing User Experience (UX): The original website had an outdated design with poor visual hierarchy, inconsistent branding, and inadequate accessibility features. The new design aims to improve usability, engagement, and navigation.

Improving SEO and Performance: The previous website had weak SEO implementation, slow load times, and unoptimised content. The redesign focused on integrating high-ranking keywords, improving metadata, optimising images, and ensuring compliance with technical SEO best practices.

Strengthening Call-to-Action (CTA) Effectiveness: CTAs on the old website were not prominent or engaging enough, leading to lower conversion rates. The new site places strategically positioned CTAs with clear messaging to drive conversions.

Ensuring Legal and Compliance Standards: The old site lacked necessary legal requirements such as GDPR compliance, cookie consent banners, and a structured privacy policy. The new site integrates these elements for legal and data protection compliance.

Updating Content & Media: Content was restructured to be more engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly. Licensed images and improved media elements were incorporated to enhance visual appeal and clarity.

Working with ST Thomas Recruitment. We redesigned the site, made sure it met the accessibility guidelines, and worked accross different platforms.

The Launch & SEO

With the website now live, the focus shifts to ensuring it effectively reaches and engages the target audience. Continuous monitoring will be conducted using Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, and additional tracking software to consolidate performance data into a comprehensive, easy-to-analyze monthly report. This ongoing process allows for strategic adjustments to optimize visibility and engagement.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Backlink Review & Optimization: Assessing and updating existing backlinks to ensure they are relevant, high-quality, and aligned with current SEO strategies.
  • Business Listing Accuracy: Verifying that Google Business Profile and Bing Places for Business are correctly configured with up-to-date company details.
  • Performance Tracking & Adjustments: Analyzing user behavior, search engine rankings, and conversion metrics to refine content, keywords, and technical SEO elements.

Within just 24 hours of launch, an increase in conversions and completed form submissions has already been observed, indicating positive initial traction. Ongoing refinements will further enhance the site’s effectiveness in reaching and converting the intended audience.
